Many ancient Japanese crafts inspire us here at  Note; yotsume toji, shodo, kimono, Yakimono, kintsugi…bookbinding, calligraphy, textiles, pottery…and we also embrace Kanso, for a traditional focus on simplicity and zen, and Wabi-Sabi, a philosophy embracing imperfection and the beauty of the transient. Our Memocho range is in honour of those crafts.
